Anand is a serial entrepreneur, builder and operator with 7+ years of experience across consumer technology, blockchain, and gaming ecosystems. Before joining MetaNinza, he was the Founder and CEO at Glazer Labs, where he led Glazer Games and THRYL – a rewards-centric gamers engagement platform.
Anand Mishra Joins MetaNinza as Co-Founder and Chief of Staff
In his new role, Anand will work closely with the leadership and core team of MetaNinza to drive execution across the company’s esports ecosystems, partnerships, product and internal operations. As the co-founder, his primary responsibilities and key focus areas shall include user acquisition, growth and retention, building, nurturing and scaling a creator-focused ecosystem including tournaments and programs, strengthening governance and rewards distribution mechanisms, and driving growth-focused execution alignment between product, tech, marketing, and operations, in order to ensure that MetaNinza grows and scales with speed, accountability and precision.
Anand joins MetaNinza after serving a hugely successful tenure as the Founder and CEO of Glazer, where he created and scaled high-impact platforms and initiatives across gaming growth, esports events, brand partnerships, and creator communities. Under his leadership, Glazer Games delivered 400 million+ impressions for 50+ brands, drove 10 million+ user acquisitions and 200 million+ views through campaigns and activations, executed hundreds of creator and brand partnerships, and even created a couple of new esports IPs.
Additionally, he also led the launch of THRYL, which acquired nearly half a million users in only around two months of its launch, demonstrating Anand’s ability to build and scale fast-growing reward-based engagement systems with strong growth discipline and execution muscle.
Prior to that, Anand had founded HECOD Blockchain Inc. in 2019, a Canada-based blockchain enterprise which he led through its high growth phase, expanding validated blockchain use-cases and serving over 400 B2B clients globally, scaling to 8 million+ active users, implementing enterprise-grade governance frameworks and policies, delivering robust blockchain infrastructure with high uptime and cost efficiency, and achieving a commendable ARR of $4.2 million. Till date, Anand continues to remain a majority shareholder in HECOD. His blockchain background will, in the near future, aid the development of secure, transparent, and anti-abuse reward infrastructure and fair gameplay at MetaNinza.
