The four-finger claw layout is one of the best ways to gain an advantage in BGMI. It allows simultaneous movement, aiming, and shooting, giving you faster reactions in intense fights.
In this setup, your left thumb controls movement, your right thumb handles aim, your left index finger opens scopes and uses utilities, and your right index finger fires and jumps.
Understanding the Four-Finger Claw Layout
Go to Settings → Controls → Customize and position the fire button in the top-right corner for your right index finger. Move the scope button to the top-left for your left index finger.
Keep the joystick on the bottom-left and aiming area on the bottom-right. Adjust each button’s size—70–90% is ideal so you can tap them without misclicks.
Sensitivity, Practice & Muscle Memory
Sensitivity plays a major role in claw gameplay. Start with 90–110 for Red Dot/2x, 60–80 for 3x/4x, and lower for 6x/8x scopes. Gyroscope users can stick to 250–300 for fast recoil control.
Practice in TDM to build muscle memory. Begin with basic movements like crouch-shoot, jump-shot, and spray control. Use classic matches only after you’re comfortable.
Over time, the claw layout becomes natural and significantly improves your overall gameplay and fight consistency.
