KRAFTON India has officially revealed its H2 2025 Esports Roadmap, headlined by two major flagship tournaments — the BGMI Showdown 2025 (BMSD 2025) and the BGMI International Cup 2025 (BMIC 2025). Both events feature a ₹1 Crore prize pool each and will together offer three qualification slots for Indian teams in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025.
A New Era for Indian Esports
Following a thrilling first half of the year that saw BGIS, BMPS, and the launch of programs like Rising Star and Campus Tour, KRAFTON India’s new roadmap sets the stage for the next phase of competitive growth.
This dual-tournament structure not only boosts India’s global presence but also creates multiple qualification routes to international tournaments — a first for Indian BGMI esports.
In addition, KRAFTON announced the expansion of the BGMI Campus Tour 2025–2026, aiming to discover and nurture fresh talent from Tier-2 cities and college campuses across the country.
BGMI Showdown 2025: The Road to Global Glory
The BGMI Showdown 2025 is set to kick off on September 18, 2025, in Hyderabad. It will feature 48 elite teams drawn from BGIS, BMPS, and official third-party tournaments, competing in a studio-format setting.
The top team will claim the ₹1 Crore prize and a direct qualification slot to PMGC 2025. Meanwhile, the top 8 teams will earn a place in the BGMI International Cup 2025, ensuring a fair and competitive route from national dominance to international representation.
The grand finals of the BGMI Showdown are scheduled for October 10–12, 2025, offering limited live-studio access for fans to witness the intense action up close.
BGMI International Cup 2025: India Meets the World
Scheduled from October 31 to November 2, 2025, the BGMI International Cup (BMIC 2025) will mark a historic milestone for India’s esports scene.
This LAN event, hosted in India, will feature 8 top Indian teams from the BGMI Showdown going head-to-head against 8 international powerhouses from Korea and Japan.
With a ₹1 Crore prize pool and two PMGC slots up for grabs, the BMIC aims to cement India’s position as a rising force in the global esports arena. Beyond competition, it also showcases India’s ability to host high-quality international LAN events, attracting global attention.
BGMI Campus Tour 2025–2026: Empowering the Next Generation
KRAFTON is doubling down on grassroots esports development through the BGMI Campus Tour 2025–2026, which launches in October 2025.
This initiative expands to new cities and colleges, giving students and aspiring gamers a chance to compete, connect, and learn in a professional setup.
The Campus Tour aims to inspire young players from Tier-2 regions and help them transition from casual gamers to professional contenders — bridging the gap between local competition and the national stage.
